Established as a wholesale plant nursery in 1966 by Isaac Bos, who discovered the "Alberta Blue" spruce in 1976, Hagthorne Nurseries Ltd is now run by his son, Richard Bos.
Starting as a nursery producing all it's stock from cuttings and bench grafting grown open-ground; the business has developed into a fast moving Cash & Carry with a vast range of plants and trees from all over the world.
Gates closed permanently, as of June 2018.
